1. Spices
Everyone loathes the spice drawer or cabinet all for good reason. It can get messy and if you don’t have a good organized space, then you might loose your joy in cooking. Spices can be stored in several ways depending on your space.
My favourite way to store spices are in a drawer, if you have a free drawer close to your cooker. These items listed below are my favourite ways to store spices and make it look clean organized and easy to maintain.
A few other ideas are storing your spices on a shelf if you have space on a wall close to your stove, a lazy Susan or pull out spice cabinet.
2. Drawer Dividers
These make all the difference when you want to keep things organized in your drawers. Things like cooking utensils, ziplock bags, Tupperware, you name it. These can be bought in different sizes and depth fitting to your space and you won’t look back!
3. Shelf Risers
Shelf risers are great for cabinets to double the amount of space you can utilize, whether for cups, plates, or in your pantry cabinet for things like cans and other pantry foods. They are great if you have a small kitchen and want to maximize your space.
4. Pull Out Drawers
This is great for deep cabinets! Often times it’s hard to keep them organized because they are too deep and things get lost in the back. This will also prevent you from digging deep in the cabinet. All you have to do is pull the drawer out and everything will be accessible to you.
5. Lazy Susans
These are awesome for about any space in the kitchen. Either in your cabinets a pantry or even the fridge! This way you have easy access to your items without much getting lost hidden behind other stuff.
6. Knife Drawer Block
A knife drawer block is great because it will keep your knifes organized in your drawer, not only for organization but this also makes the knifes easy to grab without hurting yourself accidentally. Another awesome knife organization hack is a knife magnet! This gives you easy access and keeps the knifes out of your drawers.
7. Stackable Containers
Clear containers are a must for pantry foods! Getting all the dry pantry foods in air tight see through containers makes the space so much more organized! This way all packaging can be disposed of and you won’t find stale foods because the packaging was left open. It is also so much easier to see what you have or need more of.

This one is a game changer because the cabinet under the sink is known to get cluttered or messy fast if not organized. That’s where this awesome organizer comes in, it keeps things organized and easy to pull out and grab what you need.

Label everything that needs labeling, clear containers, baskets, shelves etc. This will make it easy to know where things go, not only for you but also for your family! And it’s fun, who doesn’t want a label maker!

I love these for drawer organization of any kind! Whether in the kitchen, office or desk storage these are handy little bins that keep your drawers organized. If you have a junk drawer or a catch all drawer then these are great! Your keys, spare change or little trinkets can find their home and not get lost.
A few more kitchen organization tips
- Declutter regularly! Don’t let it get too bad before you throw away expired foods, clean or organize spaces. When you see something that needs fixes then do it right away and not let it linger or piling up.
- Create zones! Like anywhere else in the home having zones in your kitchen will help keep things clean and in its space.
- Use baskets and bins. This one seems so simple but makes all the difference!
- Keep things you use often accessible. Things like oils, spices or other things you use on the regular can be kept in pretty oil bottles or canisters that are pretty but at the same time quickly to grab and use.
