Modern cottage has been a huge trend the past year, this also includes english cottage interior, European cottage interiors or just cozy cottage vibes and homes that feel lived in, cozy and homey.
Today I want to focus just on kitchens and what details make a French country kitchen.

French country kitchens are known for a warm colour palette like yellow, rust colours, ochre or greens. Sometimes these colours are out of our comfort zone but that is what makes them so spectacular!

The French are known for their brass pots and pans! They are absolute gorgeous, add so much character are durable and will last years!

Open shelving is popular in French kitchens, this is also makes for the perfect opportunity to display all the vintage and antique treasures!

The French often like to connect the kitchen with an extension to the outside, if you have warm weather for most of the year then this is a great way to extend the kitchen and to enjoy the outdoors.
