10 Kitchen Trends in 2025
The Kitchen is the heart of the home and so a lot of thought and planning goes into the kitchen design because it usually sets the tome of the home. Here are some trends we are seeing in 2025.
1. Bold Colour Palettes
Bolder, saturated colours are trending big right now, and this will continue into 2025. Colours like forest greens, burgundy, charcoal or tans are beloved choices in the kitchen interior world right now.
2. Cottage Kitchens
Cottage kitchen are also still trending and will most likely be well liked in the years to come. The appreciation for lived in, cozy “country side” kitchen is growing and well liked. This trend is pretty fresh and will continue into the new year,
3. Nickel Faucets
Brass really had its moment, and I think will be a classic choice going forward however it will have to make some room for nickel this coming year. Even though I am still a brass girlie I do appreciate nickel hardware and can be a classic choice when it comes to kitchen design.
4. Marble Ledge
Open shelving was hugely popular the past few years, and still is, however it morphed into a plain marble ledge trend that ties into the backsplash and makes for an elegant classic look in your kitchen.
5. Bold Marbling
This one excites me! Even tho I usually don’t go for the bold but rather safe choices bold marbled countertops are extremely popular this year. It is definitely a statement look, and even though it is quite bold I do think it here to stay for a long time.
6. Back to wood
Wooden kitchens are much loved again instead of the all white kitchen look. Wooden kitchen are classic, warm and give a nostalgic cozy feeling to the home.
7. Plaster Hoods
This plaster hood is our own, in our home when our kitchen wasn’t completely finished yet, you can read how we build it here. Plaster hoods will still be hugely trending in this coming year and will probably stick around for a while.
8. Mixed Metals
Mixing metals is a growing trend and can a lot of depth and character to your space, nonetheless you do have to be careful when do this because there is defiantly a right and a wrong way to go about mixing metals in your kitchens.
This blog post explains it pretty well!
9. Statement Cookers/Ranges
Vintage ranges and cookers are just so beautiful and make a huge statement in the kitchen. The authentic European style ones do come with a hefty price tag but there are a few “knock offs” that might save you a penny or two.
