Whoever invented charcuterie boards is an absolute genius! They are simple, easy to throw together and always a hit! There are a million ways to make them and it is easy to include something for everyone.

They are a hit any party no matter the theme, however since fall it around the corner I thought it would be fun to look at some fall inspired boards!

Tips on putting together a charcuterie board:

  • Start by choosing a variety of fruits, meats, cheese and nuts. Try going for different flavours, colours and varieties to make visually appealing spread!
  • Go for cured meats like salami, prosciutto or chorizo, and try filing them into pretty shapes like roses or just folding them.
  • Go for fresh cut up fruits, berries or even dried fruits! The bigger the variety the better.
  • Popular cheese options that are often used are brie, gouda clue cheese or cheddar!
  • Don’t be scared to add some spreads like honey, jams or mustard to compliment the flavours.
  • Add edible flowers, herbs, or a other decorative elements for the fishing touch.
  • Remember to provide plates or napkins for easy serving and enjoyment!
  • Have fun with it and make it your own! There aren’t really any rules to it!
