In this post I want to give you 10 spring home decor ideas to freshen up your house and be ready for spring!
This is my favorite time of the year when the rest of winter decor goes, and when we make spaces feel clean, less cluttered and decorate for spring, my favorite season!
I hope to bring some new ideas to help you decorate and give you fresh ways to decorate! There is just something hopeful and joyous in this season when everything comes out of the winter slumber and one feels more alive again!

1. Spring flowers in pretty pots
A great way to freshen up a place is planting your favorite spring flowers in pretty pots or in a gorgeous dish like in the featured photo. Choose your favorite spring blooms like snow drops, daffodils, tulips or paper whites!
Some you can grow from bulbs which makes the experience even more fun! But if you want a quick result you can also get pretty blooms in your local grocery store or nursery!
2. Bring in pastel colors
Spring is the season of pastels and bringing these soft hues into your home decor is a great way to decorate for the season. Simple changes you can make is changing your tablecloth, throw pillows, throw blankets, curtains or displaying pastel colored dishes. Another idea is setting out pastel colored vases, floral and changing your current pictures to spring themed pictures.
3. Make or buy a pretty spring wreath
There are tons of ideas out there on different spring wreaths you can make yourself or buy online.
This year I am very intrigued to make my own babies breath wreath, it looks so enchanting, furthermore is fitting for spring and dries beautifully making it easy to swap out and reusing it in years to come.
4. Spring Garland
Another pretty spring home decor ideas is making a pretty spring garland! You can make the garland from paper crafted butterflies, birds or bunnies. Dried floral blooms or crocheted daisies also really cute and make for a pretty spring garland!
They can be hung on the mantle, shelving or an empty wall! Pretty much anywhere that could use a special touch!
5. Force bloom twigs in vase
Have you ever forced twigs to bloom inside? I love doing this with pussy willow branches, but it works with any tree branches. Simply cut a few branches of your tree of choice, place them in water and watch the magic happen over the next weeks.
6. Use flower printed textiles or dishes
Using floral printed textiles like curtains, tablecloths, throw pillows, or dishes is great way to incorporate more spring decor in your home!
7. Displaying spring themed books
Displaying spring themes coffee table books is another great idea for easy spring decor. You don’t necessarily need to display them on coffee tables, but you can display them on side tables, mantles, open shelving etc.
8. Bird Feeders
I love this idea and want to try this out this spring! Spring is the season the birds start chirping again (depending where you live), and hanging these cute bird seed feeders close to a window will make the season even more magical, watching different bird species fly by to feed on these cute homemade feeders.
9. Scents
Changing your winter scents to spring scents is a great way to bring spring into your home! An easy way to do this is with candles, but if you aren’t fond of candles then go with essential oils! Use fresh scents like citrus, lemon, or floral scents are another great fit for spring.

10. Spring themed figures
Use decorative spring themes figures like bunnies, birds, bees and whatever else you may like! This also goes well with Easter decor! These little touches can make a big difference.
